ESSEX Police take longer than any other police force in England to investigate crimes and to charge suspects according to new government data.The new figures released by the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) show that on average an investigation conducted into an Essex crime takes 114 days until somebody is charged.That's an 11 day increase from 2014 when officers spent an average of 103 days investigating a crime until they were charged.The figures, for April to June this year, also revealed the force...
