Commuters were handed a surprise sugar hit in the form of royal-themed cupcakes to mark the Queen's 90th birthday on Friday (June 10).
Train travellers at Chelmsford, Witham, Wickford, Clacton-on-Sea and Liverpool Street were presented with the creamy cakes decorated with Union Jacks on their way to work.

Participating train stations, all part of the Greater Anglia network, had laid on special tables of treats and bunting as a nod to Queen Elizabeth's landmark birthday.
